BIOGRAPHY
Jennifer Johnson is a creative writing instructor, photographer, and psychotherapist in Asheville, North Carolina. Her academic background includes an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts with concentrations in Creative Writing, Photography, and Art as Healing; MS in Rehabilitation Counseling; and MS in Community Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Certified Vocational Evaluator. Jennifer is an adjunct instructor in the English department at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.
Jennifer offers creative writing instruction and creativity coaching locally and to distance learners online. Her photographs are available for sale and licensing, and she is available for commissioned work for CD covers, book covers, etc.
Jennifer has a psychotherapy practice in Asheville, and she incorporates therapeutic writing and photography into her work with clients.
